ITV1 Network Sunday 28 November 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tracy opens her heart to Deirdre Sunita (Shobna Gulati) is also struggling to cope following the explosive events of last week. Despite insisting she is OK and telling Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) to concentrate on the business, it soon becomes clear that she has a long way to go before she fully recovers from Maya's attempts to kill her. Shelley (Sally Lindsay) knows she is instrumental in helping Sunita through this difficult time but it seems Charlie (Bill Ward) is having a hard time coping with his girlfriend's attentions not being solely focused on him. While he is publically enjoying the adulation his heroic actions have brought him, in private he is antagonistic towards Shelley. Elsewhere Danny (Bradley Walsh) insists that Kelly (Tupele Dorgu) persuade Sean (Anthony Cotton) to come back to work, and Ken (William Roache) is getting tired of living in a house full of over-emotional women! Maria (Samia Ghadie) is back from her hols sun-tanned and bearing gifts. Audrey (Sue Nicholls) and Candice (Nikki Sanderson) are desperate to hear all the gossip and find out how she and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) got on. Both are expecting to hear tales of romance blossoming in the sunshine and Maria has certainly got lots of those - the problem is they don't involve Tyrone! Audrey and Candice are stunned to find out that Maria had a holiday romance with someone else behind his back. Katy (Lucy-Jo Hudson) is nervous about her mock exams but not as nervous as Martin (Sean Wilson) who wishes her luck and makes it clear that whatever happens they will stay together - even if it means him following her to university. Katy is not so sure she is college material and confides in her mum that the pressure is getting to her. Later she stuns Martin with her plans for the future. Vera (Elizabeth Dawn) is keen to get moving on the installation of the pigeon loft so they can get recognition from the conservation society. Jack (William Tarmey) is chuffed that the scam is working but once the loft is installed and 'Henry Broxbourne' (Gordon Langford-Rowe) arrives to inspect it, Frankie (Debra Stephenson) is curious to discover his real identity from Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard). Liz gets herself a new job but loses her home and is forced to move in with Maria. Ken (William Roache) loses one lodger but gains an altogether worse one. Following the success of the last poker game, the male residents of the street are keen for a repeat game. Tommy (Thomas Craig) is particularly anxious to win back Craig's (Richard Fleeshman) computer money he lost the first time round. Danny (Bradley Walsh) joins Fred (John Savident), Mike (Johnny Briggs) and Tommy at the Rovers where it soon becomes clear that this is anything but a game to Mike and Fred who are each determined to beat the other. Mike is playing it cool and with Fred having the leading edge, Mike decides to up the stakes. As Tommy beats a hasty retreat, Fred makes it clear he wants to wipe the smirk off Mike's face. Tommy watches transfixed as the stakes get higher and higher and is stunned when Mike puts up his share of the factory and tells Fred he needs to throw in the butcher's shop to see him! Who will lose their business as the feuding pair battle to be the victor? Martin (Sean Wilson) is still reeling from Katy's bombshell and tries to convince her that wanting a baby is a very bad idea. Despite his insistence that he doesn't want any more children, Katy (Lucy-Jo Hudson) is sure she can talk him round and isn't prepared to take no for an answer. Frankie (Debra Stephenson) tells Jack (William Tarmey) that she is onto his scam, but agrees to keep the secret for now. Vera (Elizabeth Dawn) meanwhile is all of a dither as she tells everyone that their house will be officially opened by royalty. Maria (Samia Ghadie) is thrilled to hear from her holiday romance and Wanda (Ann Rye) causes more problems for Ken.
