ITV1 Network Sunday 24 October 7:50 PM to 8:20 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dev and Sunita delight Weatherfield with their enchanted wedding
Weatherfield favourites Roy (David Neilson) and Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh) are moved to tears when they witness Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) and Sunita's (Shobna Gulati) civil ceremony. The newlyweds then part company until their Hindu wedding later that day. Shelley (Sally Lindsay) helps her best friend prepare for the lavish ceremony and Dev arrives at the temple resplendent on horseback and in traditional attire.
Sunita (Shobna Gulati) worries that her parents will not attend, but all fears are forgotten when Mena (Leena Ghingra) and Suresh (Ash Varrez) arrive and resolve their differences with their daughter. Later on, all eyes are on Sunita as she dazzles the Coronation Street residents in her red and gold sari. But who is that lurking in the shadows? Shelley is still embarrassed about her run-in with Gail (Helen Worth) and begs Charlie (Bill Ward) to come to the wedding, but he is still mad at her and orders her to apologise to Gail before they even discuss it. Shelley seeks out Audrey (Sue Nicholls) to ask Gail for her forgiveness, but will Charlie relent? And over at the Baldwins, Warren (Danny Young) is polishing his boots in preparation for his Weatherfield County trial while Danny (Bradley Walsh) gives him a pep talk about team tactics. Candice (Nikki Sanderson) bunks off work watch her man on the pitch, but after he misses a penalty will he make the grade? ITV1 Network Monday 25 October 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Chaos at the Alahan wedding.
Everybody congratulates the bride and groom and Sunita tells Dev that she wants to remember this moment forever. But just as the photographer is organising the flock for an official photograph, a smartly dressed couple barge their way through the crowd. They reveal themselves to be police, and chaos descends as a horrified Dev and Sunita are arrested for unlawful immigration and bigamy. Everyone is bewildered and stunned as the Weatherfield favourites are separated, and frog marched into awaiting police vans!
Also during the wedding Steve (Simon Gregson) is trying to follow the proceedings but Karen (Suranne Jones) is preoccupied with the thought that she might be pregnant. She excitedly talks to Steve about the baby’s arrival and maternal feelings come over her when she sees Sunitas' niece running around the wedding. Could Mrs Mcdonald be expecting? And Shelley (Sally Lindsay) and Charlie (Bill Ward) put recent events behind them. Shelley desperately tries to seek him out and apologise again for accusing him of carrying on with Gail (Helen Worth). Cunning Charlie is unsure that she will ever trust him and is secretly aware that he has now got the upper hand in their relationship.

ITV1 Network Monday 25 October 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maya revels in Dev and Sunita's tribulations
Poor Sunita (Shobna Gulati) sits shivering in a cold police cell, trying to work out just what has happened. Meanwhile Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) is interrogated by a ruthless detective, who informs him that Sunita is suspected of aiding the illegal immigration of seven men, including Dev. Dev is dumbfounded. Back at the temple, Maya (Sasha Behar) pretends to Mena that she is Sunita's friend. She slips into conversation that Sunita jilted Ciaran (Keith Duffy) on their wedding day and convinces her that Sunita has left a string of people hurt and upset with her turbulent love life. Then Maya has the cheek to give Mena (Leena Dhingra) a business card, and offers to help Sunita as she believes the ‘poor shop girl’ is innocent. Mena then breaks down in front of Shelley and Ciaran because she is convinced Sunita has hurt so many people. What will happen to Dev and Sunita now that Maya’s plan has come off?
After the shock of her pregnancy test, Karen (Suranne Jones) struggles to put on a brave face. While the Macdonalds are in the Rovers waiting to hear what has happened to the newlyweds, Tracy (Kate Ford) decides to make her own entertainment by having a go at ‘barren Karen’. Tipsy Tracy offers her services to be their surrogate mother as Steve (Simon Gregson) clearly can’t get his wife pregnant! Although Shelley (Sally Lindsay) bristles at he thought of facing up to Gail (Helen Worth), Charlie (Bill Ward) urges her to get it over and done with. When the two women finally meet, Gail (Helen Worth) doesn’t make it easy for her, which only makes Charlie feel more smug.

ITV1 Network Wednesday 27 October 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunita faces court and Dev faces Mad Maya
Sunita (Shobna Gulati) pleads not guilty to the charges of assisting in unlawful immigration and marrying six men. The trial is set for March 2005 and Sunita and Dev are devastated as her bail is refused.
Incensed at this injustice, Dev storms round to Maya's home. She refuses to answer her door and he pretends to leave. Later on, as she leaves her flat, a demented Dev grabs her and demands she tell the truth to the police. Will Maya (Sasha Behar) ever relent in her quest to ruin his life? Claire (Julia Haworth) embarks on a big night out with the girls at the Weatherfield Arms while Ashley (Steven Arnold) and Martin (Sean Wilson) decide on an old codgers' night in. During the boozy evening, the girls tease Claire (Julia Haworth) for setting the wedding date years away. Claire worries that Ashley could have cold feet. Over at Underworld, the factory girls are very cynical about Danny's new ‘silver stitcher’, but Danny (Bradley Walsh) manages to talk it up and makes his workers feel competitive. Danny decides that Sean (Antony Cotton) should be the first to use it, which riles the girls even more. Danny also finds himself on the receiving end of some rather amorous flirting from one of the factory girls.

ITV1 Network Friday 29 October 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maya visits the police station – will she finally confess?
Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) is horrified when Maya (Sasha Behar) has the brass neck to casually visit the corner shop and inquire as to whether his honeymoon will ever go ahead. Dev is close to a breakdown. Emily (Eileen Derbyshire), who is buying groceries at the time jumps to Sunita's (Shobna Gulati) defence at Maya's malicious jibes, but Maya (Sasha Behar) doesn’t care and continues to goad him. Later on Maya decides to go to the police station to give them some information on Dev and Sunita's case. Does this mean that Maya will finally come clean and confess?
Over at the Peacocks, Claire (Julia Haworth) decides to broach her concerns about the wedding date. She is in no doubt that Ashley (Steven Arnold) loves her, but gently tells him that she thinks he feels he isn’t ready to tie the knot. After a heart-to-heart Ashley breaks down in tears when he talks to her about his worries. Candice (Nikki Sanderson) is bragging about her new life with Warren (Danny Young), until Maria (Samia Ghadie) reminds her that he is a two-bit player and she is only going out with him because she thinks she is the new ‘Victoria Beckham.’ Maria and Candice continue to bicker as Candice tells her that she is moving in bigger and better circles and has to worry about more important things now such as outfits, functions, journalists and paparazzi!

Poor Sunita (Shobna Gulati) is placed under suicide watch in prison. Meanwhile Frankie (Debra Stephenson) returns to find her house in mayhem from the Baldwin boys’ laziness. Frankie is still quick to defend her best friend Maya (Sasha Behar) and dines with her to lend support. However, Frankie’s loyalty starts to waver as she sees Maya’s enjoyment at the perils Dev and Sunita face. Will a torn Frankie eventually see the truth and do the right thing by Coronation Street’s doomed couple? Over at Underworld, the girls have been challenged to a stitching competition organized by Danny (Bradley Walsh) as a way of increasing productivity. At the Rovers, Sonia (Tina Gambe) decides that this could be a problem and convinces the girls to go slow. When the girls go to dinner, Kelly (Tupele Dorgu) pretends to go to her ex’s to pick some of her belongings but sneakily starts to work at a fiery pace. Danny returns to see Kelly’s effort and is impressed at her ambition, but will the other girls have the same feelings?
