Tracy plays on Steve’s isolation and blows his secret

Karen decides she wants to go out early  doors collecting

Karen (Suranne Jones) decides she wants to go out early doors collecting for Weatherfield Children’s Hospital and first knocks on the Grimshaws’ front door. Todd (Bruno Langley) answers and gives a generous donation because Karen strikes a nerve about his dead son Billy. But Steve (Simon Gregson) is embarrassed by his wife’s increasingly bizarre actions and asks her to stop as he misses the old Karen. Later on Tracy (Kate Ford) visits Steve in the cab office where she admits that she has never stopped loving him, begging him to give her and baby Amy a chance to be together. He rebuffs her but then a bitter Tracy decides to throw Steve’s nasty words back in his face, when she reveals to a shocked Karen that Steve has been secretly paying her paternity money for the last seven months. How will ‘saint’ Karen react to this bombshell?

Leanne (Jane Danson) and Jamie (Rupert Hill) are both playing hard to get with each other. In the corner shop she flirts outrageously with her new boss Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) and makes a pass at him. Will Dev succumb to lusty Leanne's charms?

And with the work finally complete on Nexus, Ciaran (Keith Duffy) can’t wait to get started but is hurt when he can only toast his new adventure with Charlie (Bill Ward) and Jason (Ryan Thomas) – because Tracy is nowhere to be found.

And Kelly (Tupele Dorgu) surprises the factory girls by coming back early from Tenerife, after discovering her husband-to-be has been cheating on her with the chief bridesmaid. But now with Sean (Antony Cotton) working in her place in the factory, will she get her old job back?

Monday 13 September 7.30 - 8pm ITV1.

Karen (Suranne Jones) is still insisting to a shocked Steve (Simon Gregson) that he should do more with Amy. He finally admits to Karen that he does have feelings for his daughter and though this is hard for Karen to take she tells him to go and see Amy. At work the girls try and goad Karen to have a go at Tracy (Kate Ford) for trying to interfere in her marriage. Later Steve despairs with his wife over her insistence to force Amy into their lives. However after the strained couple row, it’s crunch time in the street when Steve sees Tracy and Amy and he is desperately awkward as he walks over to a smug Tracy and her baby. Will Karen crumble under the strain?

Ciaran (Keith Duffy) instructs a keen Sarah (Tina O’Brien) in the art of waitressing in preparation for his opening night. But Ciaran is worried when an environmental health officer inspects the restaurant and although it is spotless, he refuses to give Ciaran a licence until there is hot water in the kitchen. Will Charlie (Bill Ward) be able to get the water flowing in time for the opening?

And in a bid to win back Jamie (Rupert Hill), Leanne (Jane Danson) spins her story round by saying that Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) sacked her because she shunned his amorous advances. Jamie is mad and has a go at an amused Dev, telling him to stay well clear of Leanne.

One of Rita's (Barbara Knox) old showbiz friends Rula Romanoff (Honor Blackman) sweeps into the Kabin and captivates both Norris (Malcolm Hebden) and Fred (John Savident).

Monday 13 September 8.30 - 9pm ITV1.

Karen (Suranne Jones) crumbles as it looks like Steve (Simon Gregson) is about to go with Tracy (Kate Ford) and Amy. As she watches them together, she can’t help but call out for Steve to come home. Karen’s a broken woman as the emotions she’s been bottling up come spilling out. Steve is devastated to see his wife in such an emotional state but after making that step towards Amy will Steve be able to turn his back on his daughter?

Elsewhere Maya (Sasha Behar) spots an opportunity for revenge when Frankie (Debra Stephenson) tells her that Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) sacked Leanne (Jane Danson) after she rejected his advances. She tells Leanne that she could take Dev to a tribunal for unfair dismissal, playing on the fact that she could make a lot of money. Will Leanne team up with malicious Maya?

It’s McCarthys' opening night but all doesn’t go as planned for Ciaran (Keith Duffy). Not only does he get a number of complaints about the service but Tracy fails to show up. Ciaran’s clearly gutted and we’re left wondering if he’s truly starting to fall in love with her.

And Norris (Malcolm Hebden) is thrilled when the glamorous Rula (Honor Blackman) invites him and Rita (Barbara Knox) for dinner.

Wednesday 15 September 7.30 - 8pm ITV1.

Having finally let go of her emotions, Karen (Suranne Jones) decides it’s time to make peace with her mum and goes to visit her grave. It looks like she’s now ready to move on but back in the Rovers as Tracy (Kate Ford) continues to hound her, Karen has a stunning announcement to make, to both Tracy and Steve (Simon Gregson).

Meanwhile Liz (Bev Callard) continues to play on Steve’s emotions. Knowing things can never be the same again she tries to push him towards Amy. Will Steve choose his wife or his daughter?

Elsewhere things go from bad to worse for Ciaran (Keith Duffy). First McCarthys gets a poor write up in the Gazette, then there are more complaints from the customers. When Sarah (Tina O’Brien) drops a tray, it’s the final straw for Ciaran who goes over the top and sacks her on the spot.

As Maya (Sasha Behar) mounts her campaign against Dev (Jimmi Harkishin), she piles the pressure on Leanne (Jane Danson) to go ahead with the tribunal, claiming together they can take Dev to the cleaners.

Norris discovers that Rula has a husband.

And Norris (Malcolm Hebden) is disappointed to discover that Rula (Honor Blackman) has a husband.

Friday 17 September 7.30 - 8pm ITV1.

Sunita (Shobna Gulati) begins to doubt Dev’s (Jimmi Harkishin) innocence as Leanne (Jane Danson) taunts him with claims of sexual harassment. With a solicitor on the case, Leanne wants him to pay up and settle out of court, but Dev isn’t interested, determined to prove he didn’t touch her. But will he be able to convince Sunita?

Karen (Suranne Jones) tells Steve (Simon Gregson) she wants to try for a baby. But concerned about her fragile emotional state, Steve worries that she just wants to score points against Tracy (Kate Ford). Will Karen be able to convince Steve that she’s for real?

With the restaurant like a graveyard, Ciaran (Keith Duffy) is desperately in need of some support from Tracy, but preoccupied with thoughts of Steve she tells him he should just sell up and run. On the edge Ciaran snaps, telling her Steve will never want her. Tracy storms out and it looks like both Ciaran’s personal and professional dreams are slipping out of his reach.

Elsewhere Sarah (Tina O’Brien) gets a job at the corner shop and Katy (Lucy-Jo Hudson), Candice (Nikki Sanderson) and Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) plan a joint birthday bash at Martin’s flat.
