Footballer Warren Baldwin was the last of the newly invented Baldwin clan to arrive in Coronation Street. His parents Frankie and Danny were delighted to see him, not realising he was hiding something. It eventually came out he had been sacked by Brentford FC, the team he played for back in Essex. He took a shine to hairdresser Candice Stowe but she wasn't interested until Warren went for a trial at Weatherfield County and got a contract. She began to get delusions of grandeur that he was a somebody and they were like Posh and Becks.

He didn't really do much during his time. Candice dumped him in 2005 after he was sacked from Weatherfield FC. But when he was offered a contract to a Spanish club, she suddenly wanted him back but he refused and left without her.
